Today

Well, you made it to day 4 of this saga!

Do you have any questions? I sure do! 🙃

I know I only gave you a taste of this wild journey God has taken me on the last 5 months. I'm seeing things connect in ways I never would have imagined and it's SO COOL!

I wrote this in the second person because I really wanted you to enter into this story as if it were you. Why was that important? Because this story, these wild twists and turns, aren't meant just for me. Of course these specific ones are, but in general God wants to communicate, guide, and love on YOU just like He has done and will continue to do with me. I'm not unique in this way. My story, my mission, and the form of my relationship with God is unique but the fact I have a story, a mission, and a relationship with God is not.

Pleaseee do not for a second entertain thoughts like:

"I wish God worked in my life in such a tangible way."

"I could never surrender my finances or something so big."

"My story is so mediocre and everything always seems to go wrong."

"God would never send ME to Italy twice, let alone once!"

Hogwash.

But also, I get it. Those are all actual thoughts I've had at one point or another.

(Literally that last one happened after I saw an acquaintance post that she went to Italy twice this year... 😅 oops)

But that's exactly what I mean. Don't limit God because of a small mind or fear of dreaming. God's been teaching me how to dream BIG with Him and I'm determined to help you do the same! (More to come on that later)

So with all of that, please pray for me. As my winding journey continues to take new twists and turns, I've received some insight of pain that is coming to meet me down the road too. I know I need grace to face it and grace is fueled by prayers from beautiful people like yourselves. Know that I am praying for you and can't wait to bring you back again to Italy with me in September!!

BONUS

If you're interested in a little more clarity on some of the things I mentioned in this series, I included more below. Feel free to shoot me an email with any questions or thoughts too! I'd love to hear from you ❤️

  • I joined the CPMAP (CatholicPsych Model of Applied Personalism) certification program on July 1st. I will do it part time so right now it will take me 2 years with graduation in June 2027. It's an amazing program that blends together Anthropology, Spirituality, and Psychology through the Catholic lens with the goal of giving people the wisdom and tools to accompany others. (Fun fact- I graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology with the original intention to be a therapist!) This accompaniment can take many forms including becoming a certified mentor for CatholicPsych Institute, starting your own mentorship program, becoming a Spiritual Director, taking it back to a licensed clinical practice, simply utilizing it in the relationships currently in your life among many other countless options. I honestly have no idea where God is leading me with this. It could be Spiritual Direction, it could be something else entirely. All I know is that I have immense peace (even with the financial commitment) and joy being a part of this program. If you're curious about CPMAP or the Mentorship Model itself you can visit those links. They've taken a big leap to help provide healing and connection in this new model but in the one month since I've been involved I can honestly see how powerful and life-giving it really is!

  • Blessed Carlo & Blessed Pier Giorgio- two soon to be Saints who died young but left an incredible mark on the world, and my heart. As a young adult I've looked to them as examples and found a lot of courage and encouragement from their lives. Just like I'm not entirely sure why God made it so that I was at Pope Francis' funeral, I'm not entirely sure why He's also allowing me to be at Blessed Carlo's rescheduled canonization. But what this also means is that I'll in the presence of the 1st American born pope, Pope Leo XIV! God is moving in my life in undeniable ways and this is another experience that I believe is going to place some puzzle pieces in the right spots to show just a little bit more of the bigger picture.
